The first idea for this piece originated from one of our antique restoration projects. The design language we used in this particular project quickly became one of our signature styles so we wanted to create a collection that captured all the antique charm and combined it with modern functionality to produce a stunning and timeless collection.

The honorary feature of our Santiago collection, our take on one of the oldest design trends, reimagined with a singular subtle curve and a hand-painted highlighted edge that follows its shape. Inspired by the form of the famous scallop shell, it adds a playful, timeless allure to our collection.

The charming option to add a bobbin trim to the edge of each side panel really brings a touch of whimsy to this design. The bobbins are meticulously fitted to each panel and carefully colour-matched to each of our signature blends for a seamless result that brings a unique aesthetic to the piece.

The perfect touch to finish this design is a set of cracked ceramic hardware. Beautifully complementing the highlighted edge and creating a cohesive look that is simply stunning. In this collection, you have the choice of an elegant knob-style pull with a highlighted golden edge or a bolder, more statement-making pendant with aged brass details for a singular look.

Every part of this piece, from the bottoms of the drawers to the rails, joints in the structure, and panels on the back, is crafted from carefully joined solid wood. This approach not only allows for the incorporation of beautiful traditional joinery but also produces furniture that remains impeccable for generations and maintains its value over time.

For this collection, we have sourced the highest quality English oak and walnut to create our pieces. Our in-house developed wood tones enhance the grains of our timbers and create the most elegant, natural-looking shades that can complement any home or decor. The drawers in this piece are beautifully joined using dovetail wood joints, the strongest type of traditional joinery for drawers, and installed using the most stable high-end soft-close runners we could find. These come with manufacturers lifetime warranty and will ensure a smooth action every time and guarantee it remains that way forever.
