Santiago Scalloped Bedside Table - My Tiny Estate Edition

As with all the pieces made in our workshop, these were made from solid oak throughout. Each board was hand selected for tone and grain, sourced locally, and finished in our signature Blend #41. This finish is a warm, deep brown that feels familiar and grounded. The matte surface allows the grain to remain tactile and visible, much like the antique pieces that inspired it.

In keeping with the traditional feel, we added hand-antiqued solid brass knobs, modelled after originals salvaged from nineteenth-century furniture, and incorporated working locks into the top drawers. Each lock is mortised into the drawer face using robust solid brass and steel components, with four levers and a bespoke key designed to last and intended to be used. These are the same locks we often find in the antiques we restore, still turning smoothly and still useful after many years, and it felt right to include them here, both for aesthetic and practical purposes.

This version is slightly wider than our standard Santiago bedsides, offering more surface area and drawer space while staying true to the original proportions. The silhouette remains balanced and gentle, echoing the same quiet elegance that runs through the entire piece.
