A solid brass wall sconce, two scrolled arms sweeping out from an oval backplate framed by a finely beaded border. Each arm rises to a turned cup and broad drip pan, made to hold a candle. The brass has settled into a soft, warm patina, the kind that only comes with time, with a touch of verdigris caught in the beading. 

Solid and weighty, with light wear consistent with age.
