Inspired by traditional English furniture design and the timeless barley twist leg, the Catherine Console Table marries the most beautiful antique elements and detail-oriented craftsmanship with a jovial flair and a touch of boldness.
At the forefront of this piece are the gorgeous hand-turned and carved barley twist legs, beautifully decorated with moulded drawers, raised panels, and a framed top. These elements bring depth and charm to the design, carefully considered to allow plenty of room for the gorgeous, characterful timber we use.
Each piece is built to order with entirely solid wood construction, using carefully selected, locally sourced timber from sustainably managed forests in England. We use traditional methods of construction for every component, and informed by our vast experience with restoration, we know what stands the test of time and employ those very methods to create heirlooms that can be cherished for generations.
Created to be a practical entryway table, it offers plenty of storage with its 4 sturdy drawers, built with dovetails and solid bases, operated on concealed runners known for their exceptional durability. These runners, carrying the lifetime warranty our pieces offer, ensure fully extending drawers for easy access, flawless operation, and lasting reliability.
The piece can be finished in any of our six signature tones and made using either English character oak or walnut. Hardware options include stunning solid brass knobs with a textured dark bronze (black) finish for a bold, contemporary flair or distressed antique brass knobs with a gorgeous patina for the perfect timeless finish.
