The Santiago Scalloped Mirror features a solid wooden frame with a soft, scalloped profile. Made from carefully selected timber sourced through trusted local suppliers, each mirror is finished in one of our signature blends to bring out the natural grain and tone of the wood. The frame can be customised with subtle textural elements, whether through the depth of a bobbin texture, the soft contrast of a painted highlighted edge, or a thoughtful combination of both, for a bolder expression that still feels balanced and elegant.

All small and medium mirrors come with pre-installed, easy-to-mount solid brass sawtooth hangers positioned for both portrait and landscape hanging.

Each mirror is made by hand in our West Sussex workshop by experienced craftspeople, using a combination of traditional techniques and careful detailing developed through years of working with timber. The back is painted by hand for a clean, refined finish, and solid brass hangers are pre-installed for both portrait and landscape orientation, allowing the mirror to be easily and securely mounted.

We use low-iron, safety-backed glass to ensure a clear, accurate reflection, free from distortion or the green tint often found in standard glass. The frame is sealed with a durable transparent coating, making it suitable for spaces with occasional humidity such as bathrooms or hallways, while preserving the soft, natural character of the finish.

This piece is made to order, with dispatch estimated between 6 and 8 weeks from order confirmation. We will keep you updated throughout production and inform you if there are any delays.

UK deliveries:

We offer White Glove delivery as standard for larger pieces within England, Wales, and Scotland (excluding Northern Ireland), carried out by Empire Delivery. Once collected from our workshop, please allow 5 to 7 days for delivery arrangements. Smaller items, such as mirrors and trays, are sent by courier and usually delivered the next working day after collection. Free warehouse collection is also available by appointment.

International deliveries:

Smaller pieces are shipped with DHL under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, meaning all import taxes are prepaid and nothing is due on arrival. Larger items are securely crated using high-density foam, bubble wrap, and OSB crates to ensure safe transit. International shipments typically take 5 to 15 days from dispatch to arrive.

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the size, weight, and delivery address.

For US customers:

All US orders are shipped under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, which means import taxes and duties including the latest tariffs are included in the total at checkout. However, due to ongoing uncertainty around tariff rates, if there is a significant increase between the time your order is placed and the time it is dispatched, we may need to settle the difference before shipment. In such cases, we will either issue a corrective invoice or revert to Delivered at Place (DAP) and refund any duties already paid. If you have any questions about customs charges or how DDP works, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist.

We take great pride in the craftsmanship of every piece we create and offer a lifetime warranty on the structural integrity and functionality of all our work, covering frame stability, joinery, and overall construction. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, or issues caused by improper care or use.

We also offer a lifetime buyback guarantee. If you ever wish to part with your piece, we would be pleased to buy it back, restore it, and return it to circulation, ensuring it continues its life as part of a thoughtful and sustainable cycle.

Returns:

If you would like to return an item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. Pieces made to custom dimensions are non-returnable, unless faulty. Standard pieces remain eligible for return under our 30-day policy.

If something is not quite right, we will always offer to repair or resolve the issue first, as we want every piece to be loved and enjoyed for many years. If a repair is not possible, we will arrange collection at no cost to you. For standard returns, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility; however, if you would like us to assist with collection, we are happy to help by arranging this for you where possible and deducting the cost from your refund. We recommend using a tracked and insured service if you are returning a piece independently, to ensure it arrives back with us safely. Refunds are calculated and processed within 5–7 days of inspection.

We begin at local yards, walking through stacks of logs to find timber with depth and beauty, each board responsibly forested and chosen by hand for its grain, tone, and strength, matched carefully to the role it will serve in the finished piece.

Traditional joinery is carefully blended with modern techniques, guided by lessons from restoration and an understanding of what truly endures, so that every joint is resilient and every structure built with longevity in mind.

Entirely solid, dovetailed boxes run on a timber-made system, designed to glide smoothly and last for generations. Their interiors are protected but not stained, allowing easy restoration and revealing the natural character of the wood.

From beads and mouldings to the turning of a leg, the finer elements are crafted by hand with care and precision. Each cut and curve carries subtle variations of touch, giving individuality to the piece and a richness that builds across its form, ensuring no two are ever quite the same.

Natural oils and stains are worked patiently by hand, chosen to protect the timber while allowing its grain to remain open and alive. This approach preserves the depth and movement of the wood, giving each surface a richness that matures over time and a finish that feels both enduring and true.
