An early 20th century solid oak barley twist table, of simple and well balanced form. Raised on four finely turned barley twist legs, joined by stretchers below, with a gently shaped top that adds a subtle decorative edge. Constructed entirely in solid oak, with good weight and a pleasing depth to the grain.

Restored with care, allowing the warmth and patina of the oak to remain visible. The structure is solid and stable, and the piece presents very well overall.

Its proportions make it a versatile piece, suitable for use as a side table, lamp table, or small occasional table. The turned legs provide just enough visual interest, while the overall design remains practical and easy to place within a range of interiors.
