A 19th-century oak spindle-back chair with a rush seat and distinctive upright form. The backrest features three vertical rows of hand-turned spindles with a slight wave to the crest rail, and the legs are joined with multiple stretchers, including a central turned front stretcher for added detail. The seat is traditionally hand-rushed and remains tight and functional, with a gentle slope from long use.
