A narrow hall table in the Jacobean Revival style, with a gorgeous quarter-sawn oak top showing a deep medullary figure. Two panelled frieze drawers sit beneath, divided and flanked by turned split balusters and dressed with cast brass ring drop handles. The whole stands on slender turned baluster legs joined by a box stretcher, finishing on turned feet.

Solid and honest throughout, with a rich dark colour built up over decades of use. The drawers run cleanly and the handles are original to the piece. Light marks and wear are consistent with age and in keeping with its character.
