Victorian Mahogany Pedestal Occasional Table
Taxes inclues
A Victorian mahogany occasional table, made in England in the second half of the 19th century. The circular top has a softly moulded edge and rests on a well turned baluster column, which stands on a stepped circular platform base with three scrolled feet.
This piece has been carefully restored in West Sussex to revive its character, and the top has been refinished and matched to the base for colour and figure. It stands at exactly the right height beside an armchair or at the end of a sofa, wide enough to take a lamp, a drink and a book at the same time.
